Almost nineteen years ago, I picked up my first SLR camera in a high school photography class. I fell in love with the process but, a few hours a week in the darkroom was not enough. While I excelled in the class, when I left school, I wanted to pursue music and acting.

A few years later, I was on my way to receiving my music diploma when suddenly, I decided I wanted be an art photographer. I found a course at the Nepean Arts & Design Centre and arranged an in-class interview. My would-be teacher Cath Barcan, must have thought I was nuts as I explained how I had got lost trying to find the campus and building.

You see, I have always thought that life throws obstacles your way to test your fight or flight response. I am often very conflicted by whether I need to fight against the challenge or that it is simply not my path. So, after a chat with Cath and some serious reflection; I decided that I was going to studying photography again....

Since then, life has taken me on some very unexpected detours.. But like all things that are just meant to be, I found my way back to my art. I hope you will subscribe to my RSS feed or facebook page, as I will be adding a lot more of my work soon. Bye for now.
